Jon Gomm is a singer-songwriter and acoustic solo performer, with an incredible virtuoso guitar style, where he uses one acoustic guitar to create drum sounds, basslines and sparkling melodies all at the same time. The emphasis is still on the songwriting and soulful vocals however, and his original material is influenced by everything from Robert Johnson to Radiohead, Roni Size to Prince.
"Sheer bloody genius… sublime, impassioned songwriting" - Sandman Magazine
"One of the world's most successful, gifted and inspirational guitar players" - Acoustic Magazine

Jon first played for JonnoPromotions in November 2006 at Peel Centenary Centre with Michael Berk for the Nu-Coustic Guitar Night which was the second JonnoPromotions gig (but the first gig that Jonno organised completely independently!)
Jon played Peel again to rave reviews in November 2007 with support from female duo Gallo.
Jon made his Douglas, Isle of Man, debut on 1 February 2009 with Angelo Palladino as the Acoustic Troubadors (not quite accurate since Angelo played a Telecaster ... !)
